Bats consist of the enemy's head and one wing on each side. These creatures are airborne, but can be damaged with ground attacks if hovering just above the ground. They move in small amounts when they 'flap' their 'wings'. This makes them hard to hit by arrows because they tend to move out of the way just before they are hit. One of the ways to counter this is to get the Guide's Card. This will make the arrows home onto the bat, insuring a hit. Some bats, however, tend to escape from characters while still attacking them (this is most noticeable with the Pink Fairy Bat, since it also has a decent range). This is one of the the largest species in the entire game. There are 37 different Bats throughout the game thus far.
In Stick Ranger 2, the Bat species maintains similar appearance and movement mechanics from the Stick Ranger version. There are 7 different Bat monsters throughout the game thus far.
