The Castle is an important boss stage in Stick Ranger. Its location is revealed to players as soon as the game starts, unlike most other stages. Also, it is represented on the map by an outline of a castle, hence the name.
There are two screens in this stage. The first is the entrance to the castle, and does not contain any monsters. The second holds the Castle Boss. Not including the Town-like stages, this level has the least amount of stages in the game, along with the Submarine Shrine, Pyramid, and Ice Castle. It may serve as a kind of "barrier" to prevent players from progressing further into the game until they are stronger.

History[]
After implementing the stage in ver1.2 BETA, the Castle used to be the final stage in Stick Ranger until ver3.9 BETA. In ver4.0, the stage Seaside 1 was added, therefore replacing the Castle as the final stage. However, it still holds the "final stage" title for the longest time since Stick Ranger's creation.

The Castle uses the same tileset as the Castle Gate, while having a completely flat landscape.
