The Castle Gate is a stage in Stick Ranger. Located right before the Castle, this stage introduces the Stickmen species. The White Boss Skull Stickman gives players a taste of what the Castle Boss is like in preparation for the battle in the Castle beforehand.
For a strong enough team with some melee fighters, the Castle Gate can be a good place to harvest gold. The enemies are not too strong, and with $60 and $90 gold drops, they can drop upwards of $5000 in gold. Only the White Boss Skull Stickman, which drops $500, may be dangerous. Also, the 7th weapons and Diamond 1s are dropped in this stage, which will provide additional income by selling them.
AoE (Area of Effect) weapons are highly effective in this stage, due to highly concentrated numbers of enemies. The bait strategy works amazingly well for this level (not including the boss room), as only the Red Skull Stickmen have attacks that go upwards.
