Level 2 +100% Enemy (Passive) - - 50
Level 3 +150% Enemy (Passive) - - 50
Level 4 +200% Enemy (Passive) - - 50

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Effect explanation: Increases the number of enemies on screen and also the maximum enemy amount allowed by the specified percentage, rounded down to the nearest integer.

Note: This compo item's effect is active even when characters are NOT equipping the compo item. As long as the Imperial Crown is equipped on characters, found in the inventory or equipped on any weapon in the inventory the effect will be active. Multiple Imperial Crowns stack their effects additively, but there is a limit of +200%, where enemy counts will be tripled. In case characters are using weapons equipped with an Imperial Crown the crown can be seen on the character's head. On some stages where the same enemy is spawned by parts in the code, the enemy count may not be exactly 150% or 250% of the original for certain combinations of Imperial Crowns. For example, the 6 Blue X Walkers in the 9th screen of Opening Street are spawned as 3 groups of 1, 2 and 3 Blue X Walkers in the code, and with a single Imperial Crown there will be floor(1*1.5)+floor(2*1.5)+floor(3*1.5) = 1+3+4 = 8 Blue X Walkers instead of 6*1.5 = 9 Blue X Walkers.

Since ver18.9 where the Restart Mode is introduced, starting a new game with multiple Imperial Crowns in the Inventory and uneuipped weapons will cause the Imperial Crowns to stack together as a single Imperial Crown of a higher LV. 2 Imperial Crowns will stack into an Imperial Crown 2, 3 Imperial Crowns will stack into an Imperial Crown 3, and 4 or more Imperial Crowns will stack into an Imperial Crown 4.

Level 0 LV up effect (Passive) Yellow Boss Box Eel (Volcano) - 50

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Effect explanation: Gives various effect when the team's LV is increased. The effects include:

  • A yellow shade around all characters which last for 2.4s.
  • Heals all characters' LP to their own maximum values, which also revives any dead characters.
  • Summons a huge laser, like the residue from the Grey Big Box Snake, on all characters which deals splash Thunder damage to enemies, with an AT of 1-9999.
  • Summons shurikens which rises up from each character's body parts per frame for 1.8s. Each shuriken deals Thunder damage with AT 1-999.

Note: This compo item's effect is active even when characters are NOT equipping the compo item. As long as the Anger Crown is equipped on characters, found in the inventory or equipped on any weapon in the inventory the effect will be active. Multiple Anger Crowns do not give additional effects. The shade effect and the shuriken summoning will continue even when the game is paused by opening the options tab. In case characters are using weapons equipped with an Anger Crown the crown can be seen on the character's head. If both Imperial Crown and Anger Crown are equipped on the same weapon the Anger Crown takes precedence. Only one Anger Crown can be transferred to the new game when Restart Mode is utilised.

Restart Mode

Implemented in ver18.9, when the system detects any Crown stored in the Inventory or equipped on a weapon, the "NEW GAME" button at the title screen is changed to "NEW GAME with the Crown". When a new game is started by pressing the new button and selecting classes for the new team, any Crown that is currently not equipped by a character will remain in the Inventory. This allows players to transfer Crowns from a completed game to a new game.

Trivia

  • When Anger Crown was introduced, 3 new unused Crowns hidden in the source code were also found. These are actually higher LV versions of the Imperial Crown giving increased enemy count increments. Imperial Crown 2, 3 and 4 gives +100%, +150% and +200% respectively, with enemy increment cap maintained at +200%. These are later found to be used in the Restart Mode.
