MBGreenGelhead

The Kusa Mochi (formerly known as the Green Gel head) is a monster type of the game Monster Box. It is the default monster type that players can fight with and 20 of them exist when a game is started. At spawning, it bursts out from the Monster Box all at once, landing around the box with slight delays. It can stack up with each other by spawning above another Kusa Mochi, forming a blob like structure. Unlike other monsters, the Kusa Mochi is automatically unlocked for free upon starting the game.

Initial statistics[]

The Kusa Mochi has an LP of 50, gives 1 gold when killed and is initially spawned in a group of 20 by the box.

Upgrades[]

The first upgrade cost $50, and each subsequent upgrade cost $10 more.

ToughnessUpgrade Toughness[]

Increases the LP of all Kusa Mochis by 10 and gold drop when killed by 1.

PopUpUpgrade Pop-Up[]

Increases the number of Kusa Mochis spawned each time by 10.

RevivalUpgrade Revival[]

Gives a 2% chance for killed Kusa Mochis to revive with full LP per upgrade. The same monster can revive more than once, therefore while upgrading this beyond 100% has no more effect, 100% revival chance will mean an eventual game over as the stickmen will not be able to actually bring the monster count down.

MBGreenGelBossUpgrade Boss[]

A boss version of the Kusa Mochi with much higher LP can be spawned by purchasing it like upgrades. The boss starts at LV 1 which has 100000 LP. Each subsequent boss purchase spawns a boss 1 LV higher (up to LV 50), which has 20% more LP than the previous LV. When the boss is defeated, it gives the same gold drop as the normal-sized Kusa Mochis and the level cap for the Kusa Mochi will increase by 10, up to LV 600. Costs $(4000+1000x) for monster LV x.

Special abilities[]

This boss has no special abilities.

Trivia[]

  • Kusa Mochi is actually a Japanese dessert and does have similarities in its appearance to the dessert. In fact, the Japanese community have already used this name (or Mochi as shortened form) before the name is officially added to the mobile edition of Monster Box and Logi Box.
  • Also, Kusa Mochi's sprite ressembles a Slime from the game Terraria, although Terraria's Slime lacks eyes
