Medals are compo items found in Stick Ranger. There are 4 types of medals in total. Medals are not restricted to weapon classes, unlike most other compo items. Most of the medals affect various drop rates, including those of items and onigiris. Their effect applies to all members of the team and stacks additively if more than one character equips a certain medal. Also, the medals function as normal even if the character wielding them is dead. Medals are sold for 250$ per level in the Shop. Many medals are found in lake-themed stages. Currently, most of the level 1 medals are dropped in the Lake, most of the level 2 medals are dropped in the first Cavern series, most of the level 3 medals are dropped in Submarine 4, most of the of the level 4 medals are dropped in the Oasis stage, all level 5 medals are dropped in the Frozen Lake, all level 6 medals are dropped in !!!, and all level 7 medals are dropped in the Blood Lake.

Level 1 +10% drop rate Green Smiley Fish (Lake) 2000 250
Level 2 +20% drop rate Yellow Skull Fish (Cavern 1) - 500
Level 3 +30% drop rate Grey Mask Fish (Submarine 4) - 750
Level 4 +40% drop rate White Box Eel (Oasis) - 1000
Level 5 +50% drop rate Blue Shield Copter (Frozen Lake) 10000 1250
Level 6 +75% drop rate Purple Coconut Germ (!!!) - 1500
Level 7 +100% drop rate Orange Box Fish (Blood Lake) - 1750

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Note: The Bronze Medal affects the drop rate for items defined in the enemy drop section, such as weapons and compo items. For example, if the drop rate for an item is 10% without medals the new drop rate with one Bronze Medal 1 will be 11%

100% + 10% = 110% = 1.1
10% * 1.1 = 11%

The effect does stack, for example, a team with one Bronze Medal 2 and two Bronze Medals 1 with the base drop rate of 10% the drop rate will be 14%

100% + 20% + 10% + 10% = 140% = 1.4
10% * 1.4 = 14%

Level 7 +100% chance of onigiri drop Green Box Tree (Blood Lake) - 1750

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Note: The Silver Medal improves the normal drop rate of 20% for Onigiri. The effect does stack, for example a team with one Silver Medal 2 and two Silver Medals 1 will have a drop rate of 28%

100% + 20% + 10% + 10% = 140% = 1.4
20% * 1.4 = 28%

Level 1 +10% gold UP Tan Skull Fish (Lake) 2000 250
Level 2 +20% gold UP Yellow Fairy Fish (Cavern 3) - 500

Level 6 +75% gold UP Pink Boss Coconut Germ (!!!) - 1500
Level 7 +100% gold UP Brown Boss Box Germ (Blood Lake) - 1750

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Note: This increases the value of all dropped gold, but not the drop rate. For example, if an enemy has a gold drop of 100, the value will increase to 110 with a single Gold Medal 1 equipped. This effect is applied upon killing an enemy, thus it does not affect gold from selling items at the Shop. A team with multiple Gold Medals will add extra gold in the same manner as simple interest, not compound interest. It is also affected on gold dropped by using the Gold rush Card.

When Gold Medal 6 was released, a bug caused its actual gold increment to be only 70% instead of 75% as written in its description. This bug was eventually fixed in ver14.8.

The highest gold drop that can be ever achieved using four Gold Medal 7s is 49995.

100% + 100% + 100% + 100% + 100% = 500%
9999 * 5 = 49995

Level 5 +50% EXP UP White Boss Vampire Mushroom (Frozen Lake) 10000 1250
Level 6 +75% EXP UP Pink Boss Coconut Germ (!!!) - 1500
Level 7 +100% EXP UP Blue Box Copter (Blood Lake) - 1750

Composition restriction: no restrictions

Note: This medal was added much later than the other types of medals; it was added in ver5.1. Each Iron Medal adds extra EXP upon killing an enemy. For example, if one has 4 Iron Medal 2s equipped, that person gets an extra 80% of EXP as 4(20%) = 80%. Once players have reached the maximum level, this medal will become useless.
