The projectiles of this boss are able to change trajectory (acting like a homing missile), even after being released. Therefore, this boss should be handled with utmost caution. Note, however, that the max damage of each projectile is 5, which can be negated to a large degree with a Priest's defense aura and/or a Silver Crystal. The Bait strategy works against this boss, but it will be rather difficult to avoid all the projectiles. An Ice type weapon will greatly help against the boss to slow it down completely, making hits on it much easier. The boss can often be in a cluster with other enemies, so it may be best to take out other enemies first before facing the boss, though slowing it down beforehand is recommended to lower the damage taken.
